This Privacy Policy explains how Workermo (“Workermo”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use the Workermo mobile application and related services (the “Service”). Workermo is operated by Workermo Web Portal Services (the “Operator”).
By creating an account or using Workermo, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
2. Scope and Applicability
This policy applies to customers and workers who use the Service, including browsing, messaging, bookings, dispute handling, and payment-related flows.
This policy is intended to align with applicable privacy and data protection requirements, including the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and related regulations, where applicable.

5. Location Data and Controls
Location features are optional. If enabled, Workermo may use location information to improve discovery and matching (e.g., finding nearby workers or jobs).
You can control location access through your device permissions. If location access is disabled, some features may have reduced functionality.
6. Payment Processing (PayMongo and GCash)
Workermo uses third-party payment processors to handle payments and payouts. We currently support PayMongo as a payment processor, which may enable payment methods such as GCash.
When you make a payment, it is processed by PayMongo and/or the applicable payment method provider. Workermo receives and stores transaction metadata needed for operations (such as transaction references, amounts, fees, payment status, payout status, and timestamps).
Workermo does not store full card numbers or sensitive payment credentials in the app. Payment credentials are handled by PayMongo and/or the payment method provider according to their systems and policies.
7. Data Sharing
We share information only as needed to operate the Service:
- With Other Users: limited profile and booking information is shared between customers and workers to coordinate services (e.g., name, profile photo, booking details, chat messages).
- With Service Providers: infrastructure and operational providers (e.g., hosting, storage, analytics, messaging) that support the Service under contractual safeguards.
- With Payment Partners: PayMongo and related payment method providers (including GCash where applicable) for payment collection, dispute handling, refunds, and payouts. Workermo may store transaction references and statuses needed to reconcile bookings and payments.
- With Authorities: when required by law, regulation, or a valid legal request.
We do not sell personal information to third parties.
8. International Processing
Workermo may use cloud infrastructure or service providers that process or store information on servers located outside the Philippines. Where applicable, we take steps intended to implement reasonable safeguards for cross-border data transfers.
9. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business purposes, including:
- Maintaining accurate booking and transaction records.

When you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize personal information that is no longer required for legal, security, or operational reasons.
